Construction of a new consolidated fuels facility which replaced 4 existing fuel farms located at different locations around Whidbey Island Naval Air Station. The project included the construction of 3 ea. 30,000 BBL jet fuel storage tanks, a new Type III 2,400 GPM hydrant fuel pump house, new POL Operations building with fuels lab and a 4 position truck-fill/truck-off load stand. Additional work included modifications to the wharf fuel pump house, the installation of approximately 3,400 LF of underground and above ground piping and connecting into the existing aircraft apron hydrant fuel line loop. Demolition included the decommissioning and removal of 15 existing 250,000 gallon underground jet fuel storage tanks and the existing fuel system infrastructure at 4 separate bulk fuel farms.
